About The Course

This comprehensive 12-week foundations course brings an accessible, multi-dimensional approach to mobility that serves beginners and experienced practitioners alike. The course focuses on techniques to acquire greater range of motion, control, and sustainability based on modern understandings of anatomy & physiology.

Alex leads you through a mindful learning process, offering understanding to improve full-body mobility and overall vitality. Throughout the course, Alex provides you with direct personal feedback and assessment of your progress.

Mobility defines your movement capacity - your mobility determines your ability to perform based on your current range of motion. This course provides a clear, systematic approach that teaches how to expand these ranges in a sustainable way - replacing haphazard mobility gains and losses with long-term change.

This is an all-levels mobility foundations course. For beginners, older movers, and desk workers, this course will provide you with a great framework on various ways to move with more ease and less stiffness and pain.

For martial artists & jiu-jitsu practitioners, you will find many of the end-range techniques useful for submissions, grappling, and injury resiliency. For dancers, yogis, and movement enthusiasts, you will find many of the techniques useful to enhance your kinesthetic awareness, solidifying current ranges, and building the proper framework for more advanced postures such as the pancake, splits, and backbends.

For athletes of all sorts, you will find effective strategies to keep your body ready and recovered for the next workout.

What People Say

"Motions that were tight and uncomfortable are now loosened and more fluid!"

Loree

"As a beginner of yoga and any sort of movement, I want to recommend Alex and his practice into your weekly life.

I have been working with him for about a year now. He moves you along efficiently, guiding every step thoroughly. I have found that each week, my movement increases, my balance improves, and areas that I didn’t know needed stretching have introduced me into a new mindfulness of my aging body.

Some motions that were tight and a bit uncomfortable are now loosened and more fluid!

As I move into my 6th decade of life, I now realize that I am having fun remembering some of the motions we all did as kids. Alex gave me the strength and confidence to do some simple cartwheels! That is old-fashioned fun! What a blessing!

"Alex's understanding of anatomy comes from a variety of perspectives... with a sense of calm focus. A kind and approachable teacher"

Katrina

Alex is the perpetual student- so when it comes to teaching he knows how to share his knowledge of movement and anatomy in a very approachable way.

Since his understanding of anatomy comes from a variety of perspectives such as yoga, acupuncture, functional range conditioning, he is able to approach movement both playfully and with a sense of calm focus.

I was lucky to work with him both in class as well as in private sessions,

My challenge is a bit different from a lot of peoples since I have hypermobile joints- but Alex helped me understand how to strengthen in my end ranges, and gave me a better sense of what my healthy limits should be.

Alex is a very kind and approachable teacher, who knows how to work with individual students in a group setting that makes it feel more like a one-on-one environment."

"Truly cares about your needs"

Tim

"I first met Alex in 2015 through yoga and could tell instantly that he was knowledgeable and passionate about the human body.

Since then, I started doing privates with Alex specifically for back pain. Alex has been a lifesaver! He is extremely professional but yet makes you feel really comfortable. I highly recommend Alex to everyone.

He is a great guy that truly cares about your needs."

In the beginning I was nit sure if I could stay on track for 12 weeks on this mobility course. But in the end it was the best that could ever happened during the pandemic times. I am a 44 year old sport scientist, sport freak over all disciplines and martial artist with plenty of experience in stretching, flexibility etc workouts. I can say Alex’s course is one of the best. What I loved the most were the follow along Videos in every week. I implemented so many aspects in my daily practice that I have to thank Alex so much. You did a great job!!

I started this course while doing Matt Mulligans "Floorwork&Acrobatic Basic" Course. The main aim was to improve my upper body mobility for bridging and stuff. I really enjoyed the whole Course. I was able to benefit a lot. The course is very structured and Alex's feedback is very precise and helpful. I have implemented a lot in my own practice. And the best of all: I was able to gain a lot of flexibility, which is noticeable in handstands and bridges! Keep moving
